Problems Faced By New Delhi

New Delhi has a world full of problems

Caste Protests 

One of the most recent and largest problems New Delhi has had to face is the Caste protests. The caste protests is a huge debate over wanting better conditions for their caste from the government. Most of the riots have gotten out of controlled have killed over 29 people. Protesters in neighbouring villages, form New Delhi's main water supply, the Munak Canal, have gone and destroyed parts of the canal. This has cut of water supply to over 17 million people. The people wear;thy enough fled to buy bottled water, but millions were left with no running water for over2 days. The government sent many water trucks up to the canal's to savage for water as many people were employed to go and rebuild the damaged canal. For over 2 weeks 70% of New Delhi only had 3hours of running water every day, whether that be 100% clean or not.

Main Environmental Issues

New Delhi is the 6th most populates metropolis city in the world, and with that comes many problems. Their eventually is not going to be enough resources to fulfil the populations need's. Wether this be food, water, housing, money and resources.  As of 2014 New Delhi is the most polluted city in the world, this was decided and recognised by the the world health organisation. Delhi has many environmental issue apart from the pollution, this include's all the diseases/illness, lack of resources and heavily populated society. The Delhi 'Slums' is also a major issue with, this being a major part of the pollution and illness issues. 

Other Major Problems

There are many problems faced by the new Delhi residents and tourists, some are long term and others are short term. The main problem that Delhi is currently facing is their lack of safe to have food and water. This is because the city is so densely populated, and so many people people are in need of these supply's, but their is never enough to go around, so many go without. These people are typically the less fortunate as the wealthy people are always first choice. The other main problems include heavily air pollution from all different reasons, land pollution and scarcity and the major lack of security.
